JT Open program members had significant influence in the creation of JT2Go. As a special benefit of membership, UGS created the JT Open Edition of JT2Go.

JT2Go - JT Open Edition includes all the same functionality of JT2Go plus basic 3D measurement and basic 3D cross-sectioning. These are the same features included in the initial launch of JT2Go on a 90 day trial basis but will not expire.

In addition,JT2Go includes exciting new functionality for embedding an ActiveX viewing window that references a JT file in a Microsoft Office 2003 document. These are called “JT Documents” and enable an extended audience of consumers for JT files to view 3D within their common desktop applications. JT Open program members have the exclusive ability to create these documents while anyone with JT2Go installed will be able to view them. To create JT Documents simple click the “Save as JT Document” button on the JT2Go menu.
