JT Products

PTC's ProductView enables visualization and collaboration for 2-D and 3-D data from all CAD systems including Pro/ENGINEER, AutoCAD, CATIA, I-DEAS, Unigraphics and SolidWorks, as well as from many ECAD solutions. The solution also allows the visualization of data from other graphics applications, office programs or spreadsheets. ProductView supports over 150 different formats and systems including JT. Available as an embedded capability within PTC's Windchill solutions and as standalone application, ProductView makes important digital product data accessible to all participants in the value chain, inside and outside the enterprise.

The Benefits of JT and the JT Open Program

Manufacturers have made clear their requirement to be able to share product information with the extended enterprise. PLM vendors must provide solid interoperability between their solutions and complementary applications and systems. Only a complete product development system which includes an open, interoperable architecture can effectively ensure that product data is made available in a timely and accurate manner to members of the broader enterprise. With our customers in mind, PTC has been addressing interoperability on various fronts, and our participation in the JT Open consortium is a validation of our efforts and commitment in this area.
