B&W
John Bowers founded Bowers & Wilkins with a single, simple vision: to create the perfect loudspeaker - a loudspeaker that neither adds nor subtracts from the original signal. The vision has never deviated. B&W's technological advances, rave reviews and its acceptance among recording professionals all bear out the claim that the future of sound is usually heard first on B&W loudspeakers.
With an enviable R&D facility based in Steyning on the South Downs, B&W's engineers have conceived groundbreaking technology that leads the world in loudspeaker design. Models such as the shell-like Nautilus or 800 Series, as used by Abbey Road Studios, are truly iconic in status.
B&W is a UK-based company with manufacturing plants in Worthing, Bradford and Denmark. It employs over 500 people and exports to over 60 countries.
